There was a plastic spoon sticking out of his mouth. Not so unusual i suppose, if he had food it would have been completely normal. But there was no food in sight and he was lazing back on a wooden bench in an early hour of the morning. The night life could be interesting in this town if you could be bothered to make something of it. But Kinson was feeling particularly lazy, and a tad bit hungry. The latter was making him a little irritable.
He held the plastic handle of the cutlery inbetween his teeth, razor sharp incisors still hidden from view. He was pinging a tune on the end of it, the vibrations running up the plastic. He wasn't paying attention to anything going on around him, boredom had made him fall into so much of a stupor that he had now placed his entire attention span upon the pathetic excuse for cutlery.
Dark hair seemed without style tonight, tousled, like he'd just jumped from the shower and left it to dry. Dark jeans and a navy tshirt would have made him blend in with the night if it wasn't for his pale skin and the streetlight that was shining brightly just above his head. There was little to no sound so early in the morning, only the 'pinging' of his one man spoon orchestra was be audible.

What was weird about her, as she walked around she looked like a normal dog. Who knew why, she walked along as her feet padded the ground. She would always run away from the dog catcher and she was top on his list. Her feet padded softly as her fur moved with her body, she was a dark brown with bridle coloring. She looked around hearing a sound that attracted her. She came upon a boy who was flicking a spoon in his mouth, she sense he was of the vampiric side of the lines. She had not a problem with this, she didn't see her self as a were wolf only as a person who could turn into a dog.
She barked softly and put her paw on his knee and cocked her head and looked at him. She barked once more, hoping he would notice her. It was kinda hard not to.

The bark cut through the silence and even though it was quiet it still startled Kinson enough that the spoon handle snapped. It fell onto his lap, leaving him to push the other bit out with his tongue and onto his hand, all the while as he turned wide eyes to the dog that had just seemingly appeared from no where. He really did need to pay more attention to his surroundings. A crease formed in the middle of his brow as he frowned, but moments later it disappeared, she'd placed her paw upon his knee and barked yet again. Being a sucker for animals helped and he leant forward to ruffle the fur upon her neck, "Heyy there gorgeous," he mumbled, the pathetic half cooing noise that most people seem to adopt when speaking to animals.
It was at that moment that he inhaled, taking a deep enough breath that her scent registered within him mind. She wasn't an ordinary dog. Dogs don't use human shampoo and they don't wear mild, yet still present perfume. She smelt like a human. He took his hand back, raising an eyebrow at her with a half smile playing upon his lips, "who are you?" He asked, amusement lacing his tone, "I'm guessing you don't want to talk to me.. So what're you after? A treat?"

She looked like a dark brown brindle boxer, and barked at him again. She noticed she scared him, and snorted softly. She looked at him, as he ruffled some of her fur. She rolled her eyes and jumped up there beside him, and gave him a puppy dog look. She knew that he must have known she wasn't pure dog. She was going to answer him, but he said as treated? No she didn't want one of those, she looked at him and barked once more.
Being the nice girl she was, she switched back into a human. Her hair was a dark brown, and it looked like she had crimped her hair but where it was crimped it was a light caramel brown. "Yes i'll talk to you, I don't want a treat and my name is Delilah. Whats yours?" she said all at once. She was wearing dark brown color that reminded her of Chocolate, dark creamy Chocolate. She looked at him once more, waiting for his reply.

He grinned as she changed back into her human form, much better. At least now he wouldn't feel like he was semi-crazy for speaking to an animal and expecting a logical and unserstandable answer. He never made sure to keep his fangs hidden, he knows what he is and he's not ashamed of it. As she wasn't ashamed of what she was, seemingly. Plus, if he got peckish and she was consenting enough it was so much easier to find a vein.
"You sure you don't want a treat? With those puppy dog eyes? You sure could have fooled me," he discarded the spoon on the bench beside him, shuffling up a little so he was no longer slumped back upon the bench, "I'm Kinson," he introduced himself with yet another friendly smile, at least now he looked a little more animated. Even within the darkness you could see the sparkle coming back to his eyes. He had somebody to speak to, it made him happier. And it showed. Just goes to show how bored he really was. Sad, isn't it?

She watched him, with a slight smile as he spoke. Maybe she did want a treat, but nothing she thought he would give to her. A soft smile was still on her face, she looked at him. Oh it didn't show but she hated being a were wolf, only because of the fighting between everybody. She looked at him, "Nice to meet you, and maybe I did want a treat but nothing you would probably offer up." she said as he looked at him, despite her hair coloring her eyes where a minty green color.
She was happy just being out and about, she had done many things to get by. They said she wasn't aloud to be here, but she turned into a dog and well hide cupboard the ship. "What do you think of this place?" she asked as she watched him.

"Nothing i'd want to offer up?" He asked, feigning innocence for a moment. He was willing to do most anything, he has nothing much to loose in this world. His dignity he left behind when he came here and his pride is pretty much undamagable. He's a hard one to hurt, Kinson's grown up into one tough cookie. I suppose being a Vampire really helps him along with his cause, "how do you know that until you ask me?" He added with a sly smile.
"This place? As in the island, or this bench? Because i kind of like this bench, it's why i chose it over all the other," he knew exactly what she meant, but he couldn't help but annoy at least a little bit, "the other's had gum on them, i've always hated that stuff." He always ends up biting his lip when he chews it..

She looked at him, and sighed. She shook her head, "Being a were wolf by nature, I always am up for a good two person show. Which by the way there is an offer there for one, with no strings attached love." she said as she looked at him. She looked at him, yes a one night stand would be perfect for she didn't have much fun last night. She took a deep breath and sighed, and looked at the ground.
"I was talking about this island, but okay." she said as she watched him. She had a soft smile on her face, green eyes watched him. She smiled for a moment as she thought to herself, her sharp teeth where shown. "Didn't you think it was strange? I looked like a dog, not a wolf?" she asked.

"You wouldn't mind fucking a Vampire?" He asked, raising an eyebrow in surprise. When the moon fever hit he usually stayed away from every werewolf, he never thought they really ventured that far outside their own species. Besides, he was cold and he hadn't touched her yet but he could still feel the heat radiating off of her. It was pleasant, "I'd be up for it anytime," he added cautiously, half expecting her to turn around and tell him where to stick it.
"The island's the same as an other island i suppose," he answered. He hated the place, it made him feel like some kind of caged animal. It was a big cage, but all the same, they were shut off from the rest of the world in some way and he didn't much like it. He shrugged lithely, leaning back against the bench once again, "It's none of my business really, it'd be like me asking why i was eating a spoon instead of ravaging somebody's neck," he couldn't help but smile, not because he found the image funny but simply because he could, "you want to tell me why you look like a dog instead of a wolf? Cos i'm a real good listener."

She looked at him when he said that, "Honey, I don't mind. I have fucked a human, a mixed breed and another vampires before." she said as she looked at him, she liked the cool touch vampires gave. She looked at him, "When and where?" she said as she leaned closer to him, she kissed his cheek. She loved the cold feeling it gave, she shivered and backed away. "And to believe a I hide on board to get here, sad?" she said softly.
She looked at him, and sighed. "Why where you?" she said as she watched him. She leaned back and relaxed, "Because I hate being a were wolf, I forced my were wolf side to change." she said as she looked at him.

His eyes closed momentarily when she leant in to kiss his cheek, savouring the warmth that spread over his skin for just those few seconds. He found an involuntary smile curving at his lips even as she pulled away. His eyes had darkened ever so slightly when he reopened them, but his control is limitless, "you name the time and place, i'll definetely be there," he was hoping he wasn't coming across as desperate. Falling that low is just sad really.
"Why'd you hide aboard a ship for?" He asked, mildly concerned, "it's just, you're just like the rest of us, aren't you? Different.." He shrugged lithely, or as lithely as somebody can when they're leaning back against a bench at any rate, "dunno.. it was either that or chew on my lip, i though eating the spoon would cause me to loose less blood... You hate being what you are?" He asked, once again surprised, he liked things and people that surprised him. Made life more interesting, "i don't understand, why is that?"

She looked at him, and sighed. "After we finish the conversation dear, and I don't care where....I live on the streets." she said as he looked at him. He seemed to not like it when she had moved away from him, probably because she was warm. She gave him a smile and listened, and looked at him. "They told me they didn't want somebody who hates what they are, but I wanted to go so here I am." she said.
She took a deep breathe and looked at the sky, and pondered for a moment. "They didn't think it was right that I made my wolf side change, wolf sides are supposed to look like mangy dogs not pets." she said as he moved a little bit closer to him. " I don't know why I just hate it, I guess it was from when I was a kid but it doesn't come back to me like it used to." she said.

"You live on the streets," he repeated with a soft frown that quickly melted away into a light smile, "then we can go to my place? As much as i'd like to fuck you against a wall in some alley i'd much rather go home," the sarcasm in his voice may have been lost in the added concern, but it was still there. He just hoped that she picked up on it. "And that's not fair.. Surely if you hated what you were then this place could help more than anything. Being among people like you and others who are stranger," like the living dead people, one of which is sat beside you, "it'd make you feel better.. Has it at all?"
She shifted closer and instinctively he wrapped his arm around her, a sigh escaping his lips when her hot body pressed against his side in a line of much wanted warmth, he could stay like that for hours and be content, "I used to hate what I am," he admitted with a wry smile, "but once you accept that you can't change what you are then slowly you begin to realise that it's not so bad.. We definetely have advantages.." If she asked him to name them he was going to have to think fast, he's not so good thinking up answers on the spot.

She took a deep breathe and looked at him, "That sounds fine, i'm not one to have a place to stay. I normally go from place to place, I sometimes go to the were wolf village and stay there in a hut. It's mine but I hate it, so I like to live here like a dog on the streets. It's actually quite fun." she said with a smile on her face. She took a deep breathe and looked at the ground.
"Yea I do somewhat feel better being here, but still I haven't seen another were wolf." she said as she looked at the ground and back to him, he pulled her closer to him. "We are going to have to end this conversation if you keep pulling me closer to you." she said with a sly smile, as she kissed his lips and put a hand on his cheek. "Um... i'll dwell on that alright?" she said.

Fun? He couldn't help but wonder how it would be fun, he'd seen the dog catchers on the streets sometimes. Some of them even have tranquiliser guns. But then again he figured that she wouldn't see how drinking the blood from somebody's throat would be so much fun either, but it is. It would be his favourite pass time if there wasn't such a severe lack of donors on the island. "Don't you get cold.. And what abouit food?" He doesn't need to drink blood every day but he's sure that werewolves still need to eat nearly every day.
"I have a werewolf friend," he smiled warmly, "i could solve that one problem right there by introducing you to him some night, i can't really do days, but he can," he was cut off from beginning to ramble by her words alone. He never thought about consequences to his actions and most of the time that bothered him, but he liked this consequence and so when her lips pressed against his own he responded gingerly. But she broke the kiss to speak again, a short sentence but a sentence all the same, "i have no objections if you'll do that again," he spoke, his voice slightly husky and whispered, she was so close, the remainder of her warmth tingling on his lips pleasantly.
